Materials for Precision CNC Manufacturing in Vietnam
TDB Tech helps international OEMs select practical materials for precision CNC machining, prototyping and production in Vietnam. Material choice affects machinability, dimensional stability, corrosion resistance, weight, thermal performance, surface finishing and total project cost. Our engineering team reviews these factors together with part geometry, tolerances and annual demand before production.
Materials Supported by TDB Tech
Our core machining range includes aluminum alloys AL6061, AL7075, AL6082 and AL5052; stainless steels SUS304, SUS316 and SUS430; copper and brass alloys; and engineering plastics including POM, PEEK, PTFE, ABS and Nylon. Material availability and certification requirements are confirmed for each quotation.
Choosing Materials for CNC Components
There is no universal “best” material. AL6061 is widely used when a project needs a balanced combination of machinability, strength, low weight and anodizing compatibility. AL7075 is considered for higher-strength lightweight parts, while AL5052 and AL6082 can suit different forming, corrosion and structural requirements. Stainless steels are selected for strength, hygiene and corrosion resistance. Copper and brass support electrical, thermal and fluid-control applications. Engineering plastics reduce weight, provide electrical insulation or deliver low-friction performance.
Material Selection Criteria
- Mechanical loads, stiffness and fatigue requirements
- Operating temperature, chemicals and corrosion exposure
- Critical tolerances and dimensional stability
- Surface finish, coating or passivation requirements
- Prototype, low-volume or production quantities
- Material certificates and traceability requirements
From Raw Material to Finished Part
TDB Tech combines DFM review, CNC milling, CNC turning and Swiss-type machining with staged IQC, IPQC and OQC inspection. Surface treatments such as anodizing, powder coating, electroplating, polishing, bead blasting and passivation are coordinated with qualified specialist suppliers. This approach supports complete components and assemblies for customers in the United States, Europe, Canada and Australia.
