The Challenge

By machining five sides of the block in a single setup, the geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) remained incredibly tight. The alignment between the valve mounting pads and the internal ports was held to within 0.01 mm.

The Solution

After listening to and understanding the issue at hand, TDB worked quickly and efficiently to design and engineer a field repairable fuse holder that is 100% shielded and ideal for use on Hydraulic Equipments.

The engineering effort by TDB to create a 100% shielded, field-repairable fuse holder represents a significant shift in how electrical subsystems are integrated into hydraulic machinery. By merging the precision of CNC machining with rugged electrical protection, the final result is a component that eliminates the traditional "weak point" in high-pressure hydraulic environments.
